spent the wee hours of the morning spilling alcohol on myself and getting giddy in the pouring rain, woke up energetic, had great teachers, sent a massive email, felt productive, found out i’ll be $1000 richer in six weeks for referring a genius, heard the beatles non-stop for five hours and hummed along, talked to everyone i had been meaning to, had an epic catch up conversation at midnight with my childhood best friend.  yes, i think it was a good day.

i wore the same outfit two days in a row because it wasn’t properly appreciated the first time.  wearing thigh high socks is an interesting phenomenon, it feels kind of like wearing nothing under a trench coat except much warmer.

purple legs for spirit day.  it was kind of funny going to work that day seeing thousands of people but pausing a second whenever i saw someone in purple.  intentional?  who can really know.
