Jessica //

There are still people who draw elaborate letters by hand, who illustrate text on paper and who curate a respectable collection of bourbon in their studios. Jessica is one of those people. She also happens to be a secret web designer and not so secretly obsessed with cats.

When you visit Jessica’s website to see her extensive portfolio, read her helpful blog and buy her beautiful fonts and prints, be sure you switch the page to Teen Girl Mode (top right-hand corner). The sparkling cats juxtaposed against her elegant work are a telling display of her curious humor.

Jessica’s work has appeared in GQ, the New York Times and the Village Voice, as well as in campaigns for Nike, Target and The IRS. Yup, The IRS. Jessica recently became our neighbor and we think the whole place is better off for it.

“Asher Israelow and Jamie Goldenberg are a creative couple based in New York City’s West Village. Asher is an architectural and furniture designer working out of Red Hook, Brooklyn, and Jamie is a photo editor for Bloomberg’s Businessweek. Their home is a collection of objects, both handmade and admired. They have many designer and artist friends, so most of their furniture, ceramics, lighting and artwork have a personal history.”
