today tofu turns 4! or it’s been two years since i adopted her and they guessed she was 2 based on her teeth. so i just pretend it’s her birthday. she rules.

dear tofu,
clearly you are hard at work, so I’ll be quick. i love you more than most things, but you are making my apartment hunt about 70% more difficult, since a lot of people don’t want dogs in their buildings. but i met a nice broker today who said he will get us a home eventually, so i think it’s going to work out. we’ll be back to normal soon enough.

tofu doppelgangers! thanks to the internetz i now know what a formosan mountain dog is, and that it looks just like my lovely tofu. she has to be at least half formosan, the similarity is just crazy.
